If you do, then move the cursor (in this case the yellow dot) down to the bottom of the screen and the menu will pop up. That's on Rift.not sure about Vive. It's the same as the Vive, same problem with outside views - for long replays, it takes a while to load - sometimes it fails completely. Replays are played in the same window as you race
Skybird Alien. Getting VD just for playing ACC with a VR headset in fake VR right now, is pointless, do not spend money for this. understand that VD is not meant for that, but to be able to operate your desktop and comouter with VR headset on. Browsing, youtubing being the obvious purposes it was designed for.
In the SteamVR game menu make sure you choose the "desktop" mode while in the HMD steam interface. Then load AC from there and it will appear in the steamVR environment. When you enter a race or event you will use the Vive controller "system button " to switch from SteamVR environment to ingame VR view.
I have Quest 2 VR headset, and I am trying to play AC with a oculus link. My System specs are I7 7700K, 1070 GTX and 16RAM. I am a bit confused on what graphical settings should I run on that specs. Currently I run on following settings, with many extensions off, and some modified to gain some fps.
If you don't click it then you can't run any ppfilters properly in VR, so something like pure won't work properly as you need a filter with a pure script for it to work. CSOCSO-FL • 7 mo. ago. That is completely false. I have my own pp filter with 10k+ downloads. That button does nothing else but separates pure config settings for screen and vr.
And don't even try to maintain 90fps. Yes 90fps is like butter, But ASW 45fps and a clearer image is a better experience. Another trick that helps is to bump the AA in the ini. to 8x. GPU is a RTX3070. So not super high-end, but surely good enough to run AC on some good settings even in VR. But PP just kills it.. I run the Oculus Tray Tool 0.87 (run it as admin before you start AC) Default Super Sampling = 0. Default ASW Mode = OFF. Adaptive GPU Scaling = ON. FOV Multiplier = 0,00 and 0,00.
If I use OTT and force 45fps to acs.exe the main file for Assetto Corsa, sure enough ASW kicks in and its smooth as butter- but for some reason it will not kick in automatically when the framerate drops below 90. I have tried many different combinations of video settings, vsync on and off, fullscreen rendering on and off etc- nothing will make
[SOLVED] Hi all, I've been pulling my hair out and have yet to find an answer that solves my issue, in VR (Oculus Rift CV1) I'm completely locked at 45fps, I've manually turned ASW off, still stuck at 45fps, Windows and NVidia power modes are both set to max power, I've even dropped every visual setting to its minimum, got 45fps, and to its maximum, still 45fps.
If you can use Link/AirLink, do that and switch the VR runtime in Content Manager to Oculus Rift instead of OpenXR. Oculus app: - Keep it at 72hz unless you experience motion sickness or have particular sensitivity to flicker, I found it difficult to consistently maintain 90fps in some situations - Set the resolution scaling in the Oculus app
Brent Sep 15, 2021 @ 5:41pm. Same setup here, have had these issues as well. I run Assetto Corsa (basic steam version) with my Q2 using Link and it works fine. I just connect with Link, get into the Rift home and select the virtual desktop. Then I use my PC mouse to select the AC shortcut and run it. The menu shows up and I go into the settings and make sure that the run mode is set to Oculus and select the race I want.
I have 8700k and 1080 ti and an Oculus Rift. I was able to play the highest graphics settings before in VR. I tried now the lower pixel dencity to 1, lower all the AA and Antiscoping filtering, smoke, reflections, and all the graphic settings to minimum. I also rendering mode oculus rift, full screen yes, V-sync no..etc
This guide is mostly for Valve Index, Vive and other SteamVR headsets, not tested with Oculus. However, if you find good results with any Oculus headset, let me know so we can update the guide. This guide is up to date with 1.8, as i am not 100% happy with the VR performance introduced in 1.8. There will probably be updates to this guide after
